I gave this as a gift to a person who is sensitive to other candles, and can only use soy. It smells so yummy..a scent she loved. I love that it was made in Minnesota as I like to support local small businesses. Wish I could have bought it in a store, but didn't know where to find them. I appreciated the free shipping. I'd like to buy more in the future.
I prefer to use candles in containers other than glass for safety reasons. Maybe tin?
I worked for a company that sold candles years ago, and we had a customer have a glass container crack open when it got too hot, and spilled out all over her kitchen counter. She had to have it replaced from fire damage. I don't know the frequency that this happens, but I'm sure I am not the only one who thinks about it. I only give my 22 year old daughter candles in tin or tealights as she forgets they are lit when she leaves the room.
